Paper Presentation at the Conference
Making Your Presentation At NAPS 2009
Presentation at the Conference is Required
Failure to deliver your presentation at the conference will result in NAPS not submitting your paper for inclusion on IEEE Xplore.
Time Allowed To Make Your Presentation
Each presentation is allowed:
- 13 Minutes for presentation
- 2 Minutes for questions and answers
Please plan your presentation accordingly.
Introduction of the Presenter
In order for the session moderator to properly introduce each speaker please provide a short bio of the paper presenter approximately 2 to 3 sentences in length. Please send the bio along with the identifying session and paper numbers by Oct. 1, 2009 to Patricia Brock at pbrock@aoce.msstate.edu.
Audiovisual Equipment
The following audiovisual equipment will be available in each meeting room for use during the conference:
- LCD Data Projector
- Computer with Windows XP operating system and Microsoft Powerpoint 2007
NAPS will consider Additional audiovisual equipment needs on a case-by-case basis. Send your request to Patricia Brock at pbrock@aoce.msstate.edu no later than Oct. 1, 2009.
Checking In with the Moderator
In order to assure the proper handling of your audiovisual material, please plan to meet with the session moderator or co-moderator 15 minutes before the beginning of the session. Also, student presenters should let the moderator know if a paper is included in the student paper competition.
Presentation Media - Computer Projection
NAPS will provide LCD computer projectors and computers in each session. Your presentation will be pre-loaded on the computer in the session room. Please bring your presentation on USB drive or CD for pre-loading. NAPS will not allow presenters to connect their computers to the display projectors. Transferring the projector from one computer to another and back again takes too much time and creates opportunities for computer crashes.
