September 17, 2009 - Announcement If you have not already sent your travel arrangements (arriving and departing flights OR if you are driving) to Patricia Brock (pbrock@aoce.msstate.edu) please do so immediately so we can arrange for all the shuttles to and from the conference, hotels, and airports.

Welcome to Starkville, Mississippi, home of Mississippi State University. The Starkville community offers a unique blend of old Southern charm and 21st century technology. Our growing economy is supported by a strong base of manufacturing and small businesses, as well as state-of-the-art research and technology companies. Starkville's assorted citizenry boasts not only native southerners, but "new southerners" from across the nation, university students, and a diverse international population.

We will provide:
A bus for those who stay Saturday night, leaving from the hotel Sunday morning at 9 a.m.
Up to 2 additional shuttles from Jackson, MS airport on Sunday as needed.
Shuttles for all Golden Triangle Regional Airport (GTR) flights on Sunday and Tuesday.
Other transportation as needed.

Due to a home football game on Saturday, October 3, we have made arrangements for travelers to stay in Jackson that night. Those that need transportation to Starkville on Sunday, October 4 will be picked up at the hotel for no additional cost and driven to the conference. Also, the bus will return to the Jackson airport on Tuesday, October 6, for those needing to catch flights out.

To get from the airport to the hotel (approximately ten minutes), there are taxi cabs available outside the terminal. For details, see the link below:
